Undecided Question

Mac, region code trouble?

I'm having trouble with my MacBook pro. I've changed the region code a few times, and when I insert a DVD region 2 (my comp is on region 3) it says I can only change it one more time. I click on region 2, and set region 2, nothing happens. I type in my password and all, and it seems to work, but I'm still not able to play the DVD and the same thing happens when I try to insert the dvd again.

Anyone know what I can do to fix it? :)

I know EXACTLY how to fix this: STOP USING DVDs THAT ARE NOT MEANT TO BE SOLD IN YOUR COUNTRY.

You say "my MacBook pro". Not exactly. you are having trouble with OS version 10.x. Please replace the X with the correct version. Without that, my answer is for OS 10.6.8

Use Pacifist to extract the DVD Player software from the "Mac OS X Install DVD" that came with your computer. Replaced the useless one you have now with this fresh copy of it. Then stop changing the region code. If you are buying these DVDs from your neighborhood shop, take them back and tell them they are selling you black market DVDs and you would like to know about it before you buy one.

Well, This DVD Copy software for Mac can remove almost all known DVD copy protections, thus to copy nearly any DVD to your Mac, or to any blank DVD disc, including DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R DL, and DVD-R DL, with very fast speed about 10-20 minutes. Plus, it will be constantly updated to remove latest DVD copy protections to support all DVD movies. More importantly, it can first remove and change region code into your desired one.
