Im 19 too young to be engaged?

i ahve asked this before so sorry for repeating but its nearly been a year he is 23 im 19(in2 weeks) and we have a amazing relationship yes we argue but who doenst we are open and honest and we often have my house to our selves for like a week for example so its like out lil house. we have been talking about getting engaged and it feels so right. we want a long engagment so i can finish uni and we both have a long term job then we want our own home and travel and see the world and such. My parent were engaged for 18yrs i dont see what the probelm is its extra secruity and i think would make things better we just wanna move on with our relationship.
but what are your thoughts?
