My ds lite wont work !?

Help! I was playing a ds game and it wouldnt work at all( it automatically did something you were supposed to do with the stylus and then froze). I cleaned the ds and card but then it still didn't work I thought it was the card at first and asked for a replacement card but thank god I didn't buy one because I tested 5 of my other games and they all did something weird then randomly froze. Also, my touch screen wont respond when I calibrate it.
Sorry, I realised that I answered my own question; its the touch screen that is the problem and I have just paid for a replacement and the tools needed to fix it. Soooooo much cheaper than getting a new ds. Sorry to bother you with a stupid question. :)
