B&A: Is this to odd and/or confusing to you?

I finally started writing my story!!! And I am wondering if this is odd to you. The first chapter starts out like a journal entry from the MC's dead twin sister. I was originally going to do like snippets of the dead twins life. And I was wondering if starting out in the dead's twin life would be odd or confusing. It then Goes to the MC for a long time and occasionally snaps to the twin. Keep in mind that it would be a few weeks leading up to when she died but it doesn't necessary show how or who killed her. So would that be odd or confusing to you?
