Do these symptoms sound like mono?

So i've been reallly sick for over a week. It started off feeling like the stomach flu & a cold like combined into one. I started feeling a little better but remained completley exhausted. My body was still achey too & I also had a sore throat. This past saturday I went to the doctor because I hadn't gotten any better and I found out that my tonsils are very red & swollen. I was prescribed anti biotics which are not helping and my tonsils are still really swollen and my throat is sore. My neck hurts, my legs are so sore, and I can't get up & do anything for the life of me. I just feel so exhausted and have no energy. I was spot tested for mono but it came back negative. My doctor recommended I still get blood work for mono, does it sound like its what i have?
