Undecided Question
How do I get my parents trust back?
Please someone help me. Over a year ago I was getting into trouble at school I had been suspended for drugs multiple times and finally my parents got tired of it and took me out of public school and put me in ecot (online schooling). Well I have not been able to use the phone, talk to friends hang out with friends or leave the house. This has been going on for a year. I have had a few slip up like I got caught sneaking out awhile ago and got they caught me with weed. But that was awhile ago. I am going crazy sitting in my house all day everyday. I get very depressed at times and often get very upset that my life is over for the time being. I an 17 I have no job which will make it tough to move out next year. I just turned 17 January 19 do I have a whole year before I can leave. I don't think I can take another year. I have been trying to stay clean which is hard because im often depressed. But this is basically my life for now so if anyone can give me some advice to help me gain my freedom back that would be great. But my parents no I'm getting clean and they still won't let me have freedom so wtf do I do keeping me locked up like this only gives me a lot of time to think and I just want to get ****** up because there is nothing else to do

i am a recovering drug addict. The only way to gain back trust is to practice consistency in doing the right thing.
Try going to AA meetings, maybe get a sponsor and work the steps...
Have you tried apologizing to them?
Remember these things take time. It wont happen overnight. Just be persistent and dont give up. There is much more to life than drugs.

Your parents are trying to protect you because they know drugs destroy your life, you don't know that yet. They are doing it the wrong way though. Ask them if you can take some kind of lessons or something. Change who your friends are. Tell your parents they are going about this the wrong way and need to figure out another solution. Tell them everything you just wrote. And please don't do drugs, there are so many drug users in my life and they are all horrible parents, they look way older then they are, and 1just had open heart surgery. Even weed makes you retarded.

If my kids did drugs I would never trust them again. You are going to have to kiss ALOT of butt to regain their trust!

Your parents know how drugs can be awful for your health and life. They're doing the best they can for your life, they are not doing wrong!
If you want to gain their trust back, that is going to take some months... But stay where they are, doing things they can know what you are doing. For example, watch TV together, read something in the living room where they can see you, talk to them about something you saw on TV or how the food was great that dinner. If you stay all day in your room they will never see if you had improved or not.
If you sneak out again or do anything that is wrong, they surely are not going to trust you more than they do already.
Drugs are not the right way. If you are depressed, talk to them, tell them you are depressed for not leaving the house and you wish you could go out and see some people. Tell them you'd like to go out with them for dinner, to the church or to see a movie. That will cheer you up. :)
