How and to whom did Jesus pay our ransom?

By dying on the cross for our sins. All the punishment and wrath of God that was supposed to be on us-was put on Him-He was our lamb, that was slain for our righteousness so today we can stand bold before Him and ask anything we want. We have his Grace because of Grace Himself-Jesus. He paid our ransom-our ransom was not to Satan-we were never Satan though we were sinners-we owed our ransom to God because he is holy and just-we have sinned against Him-not satan.
