Resolved Question
Is it good to hold your hamsters alot?
It kind of depends on what you mean by a lot. Hamsters need daily attention just like any other animal. you should hold it no more than an hour and a half each day. If you hold them more than that it can cause the hamster to be stressed. If a hamster is stressed out it can get a sickness called wet tail and typically the hamster dies before you realize it even has it . it's caused by stress or change of enviroment. but after the hamster gets it , if not treated it dies within the next 48 hours. However you do want to hold your hamster a little while each day to keep it tame. A good way to kind of interact with the hamster without handling it too much is to put it in a hamster ball. it's out of the cage, excercising and you can watch it.
