Transferring into McGill University.....What are my chances of being accepted?
Hi, I'm currently a freshman at the University of Illinois-Chicago majoring in Biology (pre-med). My GPA currently is a 3.9 and I volunteer at the University of Illinois Medical Center working with children with cancer.
I'm going to apply as a transfer to McGill because of low tuition costs (I pay more in-state in Illinois than I would in Canada) and the excitement of Montreal (living in Chicago is monotous. Need a change of scenery).
Is a 3.9 GPA for a full year of undergraduate studies enough to gain admissions to McGill?
Oh, and I don't know if my high school career counts, but I had a 3.2 GPA and scored a 29 on my ACT (31M,27S,30E,29R)
