Why does a teenager need a job?

for english, i'm writing a letter (not actually sending) to obama and my topic is teen unemployment.. my teacher wants me to add a little a story about why its important to have a job, only a few sentences and it doesn't have to be real. i just need ideas! something to make obama feel bad lol
