'Your account has been blocked." page on hotmail?

Hotmail recently decided to hate on me and lock me out of my own account. I've tried several times to go through the steps that they provide on their page to verify the account. But after the page in which it asks me about other emails (the page also says something about being able to add more emails in the next step) I keep getting an error messages, telling me to sign in again. When I try to do so, it gives me the whole 'blocked account' thing. Normally I wouldn't care, but I actually had some important things saved on that email that I want to be able to have access to again, so I desperately need to unblock my account.

Anyone have any idea on how to fix this? I tried asking in the forums on hotmail but you need to be signed in to access them (this frustrates me to no end). Oh and the account isn't only 'temporarily blocked' it just plain says blocked. (I'm about a minute away from bursting into tears)
