Listening to 'Blue Flu' on Radio 4 - how would your neighbourhood fare if there was a police strike?

The scary thing is that we are very close to this happening. A civilian front line worker with years of experience has been made redundant. Serving Police cannot be made redundant so they are covering the civilian's post at double the wages. So - less Police on the front line.
All really scary.
A great play with a sad ending.
