Should I change school for Junior Year?

I've been in this small school for almost 10 years, and basically I want to try out something new, go and meet new people and be in a new environment, to challenge myself, and possible have fun also.

My idea is to just change to this other school who has a much better basketball program (I play basketball, I'm a girl by the way) for my Junior Year, and my mom advised me to return to the school I am in now for my Senior Year! Also, money won't really be a problem in this situation for us.
What do you guys think?
