Itunes help!! dont want to lose data?

Basically here's my problem. I had a laptop with all my music on. I bought an iPad 2 and an iPod touch last year. Over that time I've bought a lot of songs, apps etc. and regularly synced these with the laptop. Then here comes the problem. The laptop got dropped down a flight of stairs and was completely ruined - beyond being fixed. My problem is, I continue buying songs etc. on both the devices but now the time has come that i want to update to the new ios with out losing all my songs. If i plug these into a new laptop to the update the devices with the Ios i will lose my songs. Is there anyway around this>?
i cant use icloud as im stuck on the previos ios, this is my problem because i want to upgrade but cant without syncing it with a new computer as my previous is broken beyond repair, is there any way i can sync with a new ituens on a new laptop without wiping my current data?
