Is a KT board (like a science fair board) the same as coroplast?

I want to make a C&C cage for my guinea pig. the bottom needs to be made out of coroplast (corrugated plastic), and after looking at pictures, I'm guessing it's the same thing as the KT boards used for science fairs. I just want to make sure it is, because then it would be easier to find (I doubt anyone would understand if I asked where to buy "corrugated plastic". thanks!
