Irony or coincidence??????????????????

I had a girl-friend, with whom, I, was really bad at times, abusive and manipulative, abusive most of the times, for which now, I realllllly feel bad now.
Anyways, 2 days back, we had a HUGE fight over this, because, I called her a whore. We fought over that for a while, after which her sister got to know about it, which made things worst. So, 2 days back she got to know about my abusive behavior.
Her sister works for the news paper, as a writer. Now, after 2 days, she has got a "PROJECT" from her boss on the topic "Abusive Relationship Statistics", which will be printed soon in the news papers.

What is this? Irony or coincidence? Or, something else?
